Community
The Leaders of Tomorrow Initiative continued to partner with Bill Glass Prison ministries by going into three prison's in the last quarter. Through these community focused efforts,  over three thousand inmates heard a message of hope and forgiveness. The focus of sharing a  faith-based message of Jesus Christ is a bedrock of Bill Glass Prison Ministries and here at the LOT Initiative, we are in full support of that messaging!

Education

We had the unique opportunity to gather with nine of the Carthen Scholars for a meet and greet on the Ohio University campus for the Fall semester! The scholars shared stories of  getting acclimated to the college campus (Freshmen)  and the seniors shared how they were preparing to either make the transition to graduate school or to enter the workforce (Christine and Ryant). We are excited about what the future holds for them and we are hoping for the best as they pursue their dreams. We hope to see you at the golf tournament this year!

Outreach!

The High School Football State runner-up Nordonia Knights had an opportunity to hear our very own Dr. Jason Carthen share about the benefits of preparation not only on the football field, but in the classroom! Dr. Jason shared how adversity will come your way, but your preparation during the good times will allow you to make it through the challenges that you face. The Leaders of Tomorrow Initiative continues to be intentional about sharing with the next generation all the possibilities that lie before them. Nordonia High school is a great example of those possibilities.

Collaboration

The Leaders of Tomorrow Initiative is a strong supporter of collaboration and partnership. In that same spirit, we actively seek out opportunities to maximize our outreach efforts by working with community partners. Recently, we had the opportunity to work with Youth for Christ to impact over one thousand, seven hundred students in partnership with several churches. There was also a evening event where the students were invited back to the school (RBC Chamberlin) to hear a faith based message and enjoy fellowship and free food provided by the church's! Thankful for synergy and for common goals of impacting the next generation positively!
