Twinsburg Bulletin Press Release: CELEBRITIES HIT THE LINKS TO 'GOLF FOR KID'S SAKE,' BENEFITTING LEADERS OF TOMORROW SCHOLARSHIPS

Twinsburg — The fourth-annual Leaders of Tomorrow Celebrity Golf Classic at Gleneagles Golf Club, hosted by retired NFL player and Aurora resident Dr. Jason Carthen, invited local celebrities to tee off, have some fun and raise money to benefit two scholarships for underprivileged high school seniors July 24.

"It's all about a legacy for me," Carthen said. "I want this to continue long after I am gone."

The Leaders of Tomorrow, a non-profit foundation, presents two $1,000, renewable 4-year scholarships to graduating seniors who demonstrate civic engagement and leadership each year.

The Leaders of Tomorrow Initiative® Seeks Families in Need

(Twinsburg, Ohio – November 20)  Through a strategic partnership to impact the community, the Leaders of Tomorrow Initiative® is partnering with Christ Community Fellowship to provide food to needy families during the holiday season and beyond.

Christ Community Fellowship Church at 10900 Ravenna Road in Twinsburg in partnershipwith The Leaders of Tomorrow Initiative, willgive 10 families in the Twinsburg areaThanksgiving dinner boxes from Angel Food Ministries,

Each box contains a traditional holiday mealfor four people. Families interested inreserving a box should call the church officeat 330-405-2817 Nov. 19 between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Those people who will receive abox will be notified and can pick the meal up at the church Nov. 20 between 9 and 10:30 a.m. Orders vary each month and aredistributed locally from Christ Community Church.

The Leaders of Tomorrow Initiative® Provides its First Round of Scholarships for Youth Leaders!

“The vision for creating this endowment is to encourage the students to academically compete locally and nationally in the classroom. If they do not obtain their college degrees, then the job market will not sustain them.
