A Note from our Executive Director
Greetings Everyone!
Fall is here and many things are taking place with The L.O.T Initiative! The Carthen Scholars are almost finished with their first quarter and this includes our two newest scholarship recipients.
Our Team99 T.I.E.S that Bind Mentoring Program for Junior High School students is underway and our end of the year Operation Christmas Child Operation is in full effect.
I hope you all enjoy reading about our initiatives and as always... I thank you for your continued support and contributions. It is because of YOU that we can impact the lives of today's youth.

Mrs. Mireidy Carthen

Education
Please help us in welcoming Miss. Kennedey Bell and Mr. Brandon Wilson to The Carthen Scholar Family!
Kennedey graduated from Hudson High School and is doing very well her freshman year at Penn State. She is majoring in Broadcast Journalism and she is looking forward to meeting many of you at The Influence Charity Dinner. Kennedey has also started participating in many civically engaged activities and groups on campus.
Brandon graduated from Nordonia High school and is doing well studying Zoology and running track for Ashland University. Brandon is excited about the mentoring he will receive on his journey and enjoys volunteering wherever he is needed on campus.
We are excited to have Kennedey and Brandon as part of the Carthen Scholar Family and looking forward to seeing how they will grow and develop through our mentoring program and life experiences.
