High School Assembly

Assemblies

We continue to impact hearts and minds through our school assemblies! The consistent positive message of living with character and making good choices is the undergirding of The LOT Initiative message. School administrators are sharing how important it is to have a message that is both positive, but challenging at the same time. Many have also commented how refreshing it is to hear goals tied to outcomes during our school assemblies.

Team 99

As part of our outreaches and mentoring program, we consistently ask our participants to take the "Team 99 Pledge" which is the commitment to live out the L.O.T. values of Serving, Teamwork, Inspired Motivation, Excellence in Relationships, and Servant Leadership. Along with the commitment to live out the "Team 99 Pledge" we also gather commitment forms and ask our participants to commit to a Drug free lifestyle.

Healthy Marriage Initiative (HMI)

We' ve had over 30 couples go through our healthy marriage traning so far and they continue to comment on how deep the discussions have been and how much it has helped their relationships. While the content of the sessions focus on something for everyone, many of the participants discuss the importance of understanding the commitment that takes place in a marriage along with the give and take that is required. We are thankful for our participants and believe the program will only grow.

Mentoring Program

Our mentoring program continues to be a success! Not only because of the success and improvement in our mentees, but because we have partnered with others in the community to help us identify mentee candidates and work with them on their personal development. Cuyahoga County Metropolitan Housing Authority is one such entity that has been a blessing to us. We also connected with Scranton Road ministries to provide insight and leadership development in conjunction with Leader Within ministries. We are always in need of mentors, so if you would like to volunteer, please send us a note or call our office directly at (330) 425-0962.
